English Practice Program

VNF’s Build a Future (BAF) program includes weekly online tutorials, linking high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds with English-speaking volunteers. This provides a safe space for students to gain confidence in their English skills. Learn more about the BAF program here.

Hue English Language Summer Camp

VNF’s Build a Future (BAF) program, together with the Rotary Club of Saigon, hosted an inaugural three day summer camp in June 2023 for twenty-five students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Read more about the summer camp here.

VNF Bridge Project

This year, VNF funded the construction of 19 bridges in the Mekong Delta, replacing the dangerous monkey bridges and uplifting local communities. This is the biggest construction activity undertaken by VNF in any calendar year. One of these bridges, VU23, was officially opened by the Australian Consul General on 8 December 2023. Catch up on this achievement here.

2023 Water Vats Appeal

Vietnam Foundation’s effort to provide access to safe drinking water continues. Another 300 families were provided with concrete water vats in 2023, improving health standards and reducing preventable diseases within these communities. Help us provide 300 more families with water vats in 2024 by donating now.

  • $60 will provide one family with a water vat to collect drinking water year round.
  • $320 will fund one scholarship, enabling a child to continue their education for a year.
  • $4000+ can fund the construction of a small concrete bridge, facilitating safe travel for local communities.

To donate to a specific program, please email General donations are also welcome and will be distributed across all programs.

Your donation, big or small, has the ability to make a huge impact on the lives of the impoverished in Vietnam. All donations to the Vietnam Foundation over $2 are tax deductible.
